2008 R/G are Dead
The story is simple. About the old tale of war between man and woman. Very old tale of fight with Another. With Different, not-me...
But maybe the reasons for this endless battle are inside each of us? Because we are never together with ourselves.
The plan was to stage two small plays "After Beckett" -- Pinter's (Homecoming) and Mamet's. To examine the postmodern world we live in, to compare the Old Wolrd of Europe and our Americana. Who are they, American Man and Woman? Or should I say "post-American" American?
Mamet doesn't give answers; theatre must ask questions, right questions. The answers are outside of theatre walls. In you.
The two lost soles of "Waiting for Godot" are still waiting for somebody to give them meaningof their lives. They are waiting for life, tired of existence. This time it's man and woman.
